Editorial policy
Everyday Match Preview aims to make football easier to read without making uncertain outcomes sound settled. We explain our reasoning, keep editorial choices independent and correct material errors clearly.
Accuracy and context
We check names, match details and factual claims against information available to us before publication. Tactical interpretation is presented as analysis, not established fact: where an outcome is uncertain, our wording should say so. We avoid treating a formation label as a complete account of how a team plays.
Independence
Editorial decisions, subject selection and conclusions belong to the publication. Commercial arrangements do not buy a favourable view or control an editorial assessment. We do not imply that a partner has reviewed or endorsed independent editorial work.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, use the Contact page and identify the article and the detail in question. We review correction requests and update material errors; where a change needs explanation, we make the correction clear in the article.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid placements and other partner material are identified clearly as commercial content and kept distinct from editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when an illustration is AI-generated, it is identified as such. Images are not presented as documentary evidence of a match.
